You have already successfully set up MFA for your QuickBooks Commerce account, following the steps here.
Now that MFA is enabled, your login experience will change slightly.
On QuickBooks Commerce's login page, enter your email address and password. Click 'Sign in to your account'.
The next screen will prompt you to authenticate by entering the 6 digit code displayed on your authenticator app.
Open the app immediately to check the number, as it will expire soon after being generated. For example:
Then, click 'Sign in to your account'.
Disabling Multifactor Authentication
- From your QuickBooks Commerce account, navigate to the Settings section.
- Click on 'Company Details' and then on 'Team Members'.
- Now select your personal user account.
- Under the 'Basic Information' section, click on 'Remove' next to Multi-factor Authentication.
You will be prompted on-screen to confirm the removal.
Once sure, click 'Confirm'.
You will return to this screen with a confirmation message on the top of the screen.
Problems logging in with Multi-factor Authentication or not able to access your mobile device?
You can reset Multifactor Authentication on your account by visiting: https://go.tradegecko.com/account/mfa_recovery
Enter your email, password, and one of the Recovery Codes you downloaded at the initial setup phase.
This will sign you in to your account and automatically remove Multifactor Authentication. You can then enable again following this article.
