Learn more about how Bundles work in QuickBooks Commerce.
As you may already know, using Bundles is so effective that it can instantly send your sales skyrocketing. 🚀
Understanding the Bundles process
As per the quantity used in creating Bundles, below are the stock level changes you will see in QuickBooks Commerce.
⬆ increase in the stock of composite variants
⬇ decrease in the stock of individual variants as per the quantity used by this process.
First, navigate to the Inventory tab and click on ‘Products’.
Then, search for the variant or use the ‘Add Filter’ tab to narrow your search.
Make sure to choose the following two properties if you are using the filters option.
If the variant is a component that is used in one or more bundles or has a pack size, you can now view it in the new Packs & Bundles tab located in the Variant Details page.
The Bundles tab will only be displayed for component variants of Bundle(s), and for component variants of Pack Sizes.
Click on the Packs & Bundles tab to see a list of all the bundles that a component variant is a part of.
Did you know that this complements our Bundle Composition tab where you can see a list of components of a Bundle Variant?
What are the fields?
- Bundle Name - the name of the Bundle (e.g. Dental Set, Ultimate Gym Set, Congratulations Hamper)
- Contribution Quantity - how many of this component variant is being contributed to the bundle (e.g. 25 for the Dental Set; 10 for the Ultimate Gym Set; 5 for the Congratulations Hamper)
- Available - the current quantity of the bundle.
You will also notice that each row has an ‘Edit Composition’ button. Clicking on it will redirect to the Bundle Composition tab of the specific bundle where you can:
1either edit the contribution quantity of the component variant to the bundle or,
2remove the component variant from the existing bundle.
