How to install BigCommerce integration on QuickBooks Commerce
For merchants who already have access to BigCommerce's Integration, we’re going to take you through the 4-step process for selling on BigCommerce with QuickBooks Commerce.
Let's get started.
Step 1
Before adding BigCommerce on QuickBooks Commerce
1.1 Before you can start adding BigCommerce on QuickBooks Commerce, you need to login to BigCommerce.com, go to the Advanced Settings -> API Accounts, and create an API key for QuickBooks Commerce
1.2: Create an API account with BigCommerce
- Reminder: You’ll need to be the store owner to create an API account with BigCommerce.
1.3: Save the store hash from API path
1.4: Select the Modify option for Orders, Order Transactions & Products in OAuth Scopes
This will give our app permission to access this information. You can customize how you want our app to modify your store product and orders further during the settings.
1.5: Save the Client ID & Access Token for your API account
Step 2
Import products to QuickBooks Commerce with the same SKUs used in BigCommerce stores
If you haven’t set up your products in QuickBooks Commerce yet, make sure all of your BigCommerce store products have been uploaded to QuickBooks Commerce with the same SKUs.
- You can use our CSV import tool or import products automatically from other sales channels such as Shopify.
- We recommend using a unique SKUs system for your products so we can update the right product inventory, prices, and orders to your BigCommerce store.
- If you sell products in bundles, please use unique SKUs for your bundles. For example, if you have 3 variants and create a bundle from the 3 variants, you'll need 4 different SKUs for the variants and the bundle.
- We will map Product Type in QuickBooks Commerce to BigCommerce's Product Category. If you have a complicated list of Categories, we recommend skipping Category Sync from QuickBooks Commerce. You can manage product categories in BigCommerce instead.
Step 3
Add the BigCommerce Sales Channel to Your QuickBooks Commerce Store
Once you have saved the API information from BigCommerce, it's time to add the BigCommerce Sales Channel to your QuickBooks Commerce store.
3.1: From QuickBooks Commerce, click here to start adding BigCommerce

- Client ID
- Access Token
