How to Sell on The Iconic Using TradeGecko

We’re going to take you through the step-by-step process for selling on The Iconic with TradeGecko. There are 3 steps we're going to cover:

Step 1: Prepare API key & products before adding The Iconic on TradeGecko

Step 2: Add The Iconic to Your TradeGecko account

Step 3: Review your settings

Step 1: Before adding The Iconic on TradeGecko

Before you can start adding The Iconic on TradeGecko, you need to login to The Iconic.com Seller Central, go to Settings and get the API information from Integration Management

1.2 If you haven’t set up your products in TradeGecko yet, make sure all of the products in your Iconic store have been uploaded to TradeGecko. You can use our CSV import tool or import products automatically from another sale channel such as Shopify.

Step 2: Add The Iconic Sales Channel to Your TradeGecko Store

Once you have saved the API information from The Iconic, it's time to add The Iconic Sales Channel to your TradeGecko store.

2.1: Install The Iconic

From TradeGecko, click here to start adding The Iconic

Otherwise, you can start by going to Browse App section on the sidebar & select The Iconic from the Marketplace section

2.2: Fill in your store information.

The location selected will be your fulfillment location in TradeGecko for The Iconic’s orders.

2.3: Enter your API information from Step 1.

Before you can start adding The Iconic on TradeGecko, you need to login to The Iconic.com Seller Central, go to Settings and get the API information from Integration Management

2.4: Customise Product Sync

Select the product sync settings to fit your inventory workflow for The Iconic

What it does

Create Products

If you select this option, all of your products in TradeGecko will be created in The Iconic during install. When you create a new product in TradeGecko, it will be created in The Iconic post install.

Sync Product Stock level from TradeGecko to The Iconic

For products matched by SKU between TradeGecko and The Iconic, TradeGecko will update The Iconic when Product stock level changes

Sync Product Prices from TradeGecko to The Iconic

For products matched between TradeGecko and The Iconic, TradeGecko will update The Iconic when product price changes

Sync Product Images from TradeGecko to The Iconic

For products matched between TradeGecko and The Iconic, TradeGecko will update The Iconic when product images changes

Sync Product attributes from TradeGecko to The Iconic

For products matched between TradeGecko and The Iconic, TradeGecko will update The Iconic additional product attributes such as sizes, weight. opt1...

Disable inactive product sync

When you delete product to inactive in TradeGecko, it won’t get updated to The Iconic

 

2.5: Price Mapping

If you select “Sync Product Prices from TradeGecko to The Iconic” in step 2.5, you can map The Iconic price list to an existing TradeGecko’s price list. TradeGecko will be the master of price and update prices changes to The Iconic.

If you want to create a new price list, you can do it on TradeGecko here and come back to change the settings later.

2.6: Order Sync

You can easily customize how you want to manage orders from the Iconic

Option

What it does

Import new orders

Import new orders from The Iconic to TradeGecko for matched products. Make sure you already have the products in The Iconic set up in TradeGecko beforehand.

Sync The Iconic order without invoice

If this option is selected, we will sync the Iconic Order as “Active” without an invoice. This is recommended for Australian merchants as they will receive payment from The Iconic 30 days after the sale order is made.

Update The Iconic Order Status From TradeGecko

This is recommended if you manage fulfillment process in TradeGecko. If this option is selected, when you change the status of an Iconic Order in TradeGecko, we will push the updated status to The Iconic. See notes below for more information

This is recommended if you manage fulfillment process in The Iconic. If this option is selected, when you change the status of an Iconic Order in TradeGecko, we will push the updated status to TradeGecko.


Note
If you select “Update The Iconic Order Status From TradeGecko”, remember to add tracking code in your Shipment as below. We will need this information to update your order’s tracking id in The Iconic.

Step 3: Review your settings

After the integration onboarding, you can review and change your settings anytime from My Apps -> The Iconic

FAQ

How much does it cost for The Iconic integration?

The Iconic is available as a sale channel on TradeGecko. If you haven’t reached the limit for sale channel under your subscription plan, you can install The Iconic with $0 additional charge. Otherwise, you can choose to upgrade to a new plan with more sale channels and features or subscribe for 50$/month just for The Iconic.  

My sale orders haven’t been imported to TradeGecko

If you find a missing sale orders, you can check if products included in your sale orders have been created in TradeGecko. Once the products are created in TradeGecko with the same SKUs, the orders can be imported again.
