Component variant - refers to the parts of your manufactured product.
Let’s take this product as an example. In order to produce a watch, you will have to have the following components: a watch strap, watch face, and watch box. Components are needed when creating your Bill of Materials.
Make sure that the components are already created in QuickBooks Commerce prior to making your Bill of Materials.
Component variants can either be manufactured or purchased.
