Stock Receiving app is a web-based application that helps your warehouse managers to receive stock easily with a barcode scanner. It offers a simple user interface that improves warehouse management and efficiency in stock control.
It gives your warehouse managers the ability;
- to assign and generate barcodes to purchase orders
- to receive stocks by scanning barcodes
- to select receive increments
It supports any desktop and mobile browser paired with a barcode scanner.
However, it does not support receiving stock transfers, batch tracked products, and creating "Goods Received Notes".
Follow these steps to get you started:
- Authorize the app
- Enable Document Barcode on Purchase Order
- Assign Suppliers to the Branding Theme
- Invite warehouse managers and edit permissions
- Launch the app
- Begin receiving a Purchase Order using a barcode scanner
Enable Document Barcode
Next, enable Document Barcode under Settings > Branding & Documents > select the Branding Theme > Document Settings > Document Type: Purchase Order.
Then go to Stock Control > Purchase Order > find the supplier that uses Document Barcode > click on Print to download a Purchase Order with barcode ID.
Assign Suppliers to the Branding Theme
Make sure your supplier is assigned to a branding theme that uses the Document Barcode. To do this, go to Relationship > Suppliers > Edit Default Settings. For more information on document settings, click here.
Invite warehouse managers
Go to Settings > Company Details > Team Members and Add new user. For existing members, you need to set Stock Control and Advanced Permissions to “Read & Write” or “Accessible”.
Launch the app
Once installed, go back to Browse Apps or access directly from this URL https://inbound.tradegecko.com/. Then log in with your TradeGecko account username and password.
