Scheduled Reports allow you to have Intelligence Reports delivered to your email inbox based on when you have it scheduled - Reports can be scheduled on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.
How can I schedule a report?
You can schedule reports for any Custom/Saved Reports, Invoice Reports, Order Reports, and Payment Reports.
Scheduled Reports for Legacy Sales and Inventory Reports are not available at this moment.
You can schedule a report by going into any of the intelligence reports > Click on Manage Report > Schedule Report > Set Frequency > You can schedule a report by going into any of the intelligence reports > Click on Manage Report > Schedule Report > click on Schedule Report.
- All Scheduled Reports will be delivered at 8 AM local time.
- Weekly reports will be delivered on Monday.
- Monthly reports are delivered on the first of every month.
What will be delivered to my inbox?
You will get an email with the first 20 rows of your report in a CSV.
How do I unschedule a report?
Click on Manage Report > Unschedule Report
Best practices for scheduling a report
Scheduled Reports work best when they are already sorted. For example, you can save a "Top products" or "Top customers" report. When you schedule a report, the top 20 results from the report will be delivered to your inbox.
Here's how you can create such a report:
Another best practice to for Scheduled reports is to use the 'Last' function within Date Presets: Last 7 Days, Last Week, Last Month, Last Year, etc. This ensures the full data of the date preset selected to be included in your scheduled reports generated. For example, if you a scheduled report that has the date preset of 'This week', as the reports are delivered on a Monday, you will not have the full data (or no data at all) for the current week. The generated report will only pull data prior to Monday's data, which isn't a full week's worth of data. This is the reason to use the 'Last..' date preset as a best practice.
