First, go to the Stock Control section of your app and click on ‘Stocktake’.
Select the location you wish to perform a stocktake for and click ‘Begin stocktake’.
If you are updating only a few product variants or do not have a barcode scanner, do a manual stocktake. If you have a barcode scanner and your products use UPC barcodes, using the barcode scanning method will speed up your stocktake process.
You see will a full list of the inventory in the location as well as the stock levels. Update the variant quantities accordingly. This will be the new quantity recorded in TradeGecko and it will override the current Stock on Hand value.
The Stock on Hand value includes the amount of Stock Available and Stock Committed.
Once you have updated the quantities, click to ‘view summary’ of your Stocktake.
If everything looks good, ‘Finalize stocktake’.
You will be taken to a success page where you can click to view the Stock Adjustment summary in TradeGecko.
You can also revert the stock adjustment here.
