When you send a customer an email of a Sales Order you can easily check if the email was successfully sent and if the customer has opened the email. Here’s how;
Go to Sales Orders and select the sales order that you are going to email. Click on the Email button in the Sales Order page.
A popup with the email template will appear. Fill it in with the customer’s details and send the email.
Your customer will receive the email within the next few minutes.
To check if the email was successfully sent, scroll to the bottom of the Sales Order page to the activity feed. You will see that an email has been sent. Click on the activity to see the status of the email.
You will see that the email was sent. When the customer reads the email the status within this box will be updated.
In your Sales Order activity feed you will now see an Event field. Under this you will see that the email has been opened along with the date when it was opened.
