If you use the Shopify Product CSV to make updates to your products, this may result in duplicate products being created on QuickBooks Commerce.
When changes are made to the option name and/or option value, Shopify will overwrite the existing variants instead of updating them. These are then imported as new products in QuickBooks Commerce.
Changes to title, body/description, vendor, type, tag, SKU, and other Product CSV fields will not create duplicates.
Risk of Duplicate Products only present when updating the Products via CSV. If you make changes to the option name and/or option value via Shopify’s admin, this will not create duplicates.
