If you have uninstalled your TradeGecko - Magento integration, and you are attempting to reinstall it, you may face the following roadblock!
During the Setup & Import phase of your installation process you may encounter an issue regarding an existing product attribute group, which will prevent you from integrating:
This happens because you have an existing “TradeGecko Options” product attribute group in the “TradeGecko” product attribute set, in your Magento account (from your previous installation).
As a result, TradeGecko is unable to create or retrieve the product attribute group ID,which is required for integration.
Resolving the Issue
To resolve the issue, you will need to remove the existing “TradeGecko Options” product attribute group from your Magento account.
- Go to “Manage Attributes Set”
First, log into your Magento Admin Panel, and navigate to “Catalog > Attributes > Manage Attributes Set”.
- Click on “TradeGecko” Attribute Set
Next, click on the “TradeGecko” attribute set under the Manage Attribute Sets section.
- Remove “TradeGecko Options” Attribute Group
Under “Groups” section, first select “TradeGecko Options” group.
Then click on “Delete Selected Group”.
Finally, click on “Save Attribute Set”.
- Retry Magento Integration Setup on TradeGecko
Back on your TradeGecko app, click on “Retry”. Your Magento Integration setup will be resolved.
