Once an order has been finalized, you can create payments.
It would help if you created an invoice to make payments.
There are two ways to make payments. They are:
- partial payment or
- full payment.
Click on the 'Add Payment' at the corner of your invoice and choose whether you would like to make a partial or full payment.
You will get this pop-up.
If you intend to make a partial payment, input the amount you would like to make first, and click 'Add Payment'. The remainder will be updated on the sidebar. (refer to the example below).
You will see that for partial payments, QuickBooks Commerce will list the split payments.
If you intend to make a full payment, confirm the full amount that is displayed.
You will see the updated payment on the sidebar.
Your payments have now been made.
