Maximum online stock refers to the highest number of stock that will be displayed on your eCommerce store, regardless of the actual amount of stock in the inventory.
For example, you may have 1000 green t-shirts in your inventory. However, if you set the maximum online stock to 100, your B2B store will display 100 green t-shirts as available, even though you have more available.
