Inventory is made up of products (this is what you sell i.e. t-shirts, mugs, etc.). When you shop online, you'll notice that the same product is available in various sizes, colors, materials and price points.
These purchasing options are called Variants.
Variants refer to groups of the same product, categorized by specific attributes.
These variants allow businesses to determine how many variations of an individual product are available.
Example
If you sell sequin dresses then your product would be that particular sequin dress. A variant would be that same sequin dress in different colors or sizes.
You can "Add Filter" to your variants to make it easier for you to access the variants you frequently check. Some of the filters you can add are product type, manage stock, sellable, stock location and more. Name the filter and save it.
