Create a New Price List

On TradeGecko you can create as many price lists as you need. In this article we are going to explore setting up a new price list in TradeGecko. There are multiple reasons that you would like to do this, for example;

  1. Setting up a special price for a specific type of customer
  2. Buying in a foreign currency
  3. Setting up multiple retail prices dependant on the country of the customer

To set up a new price list:

Go to Settings from the main menu. In the settings menu click on Configuration and the Price List tab.

Click on the Add A New Price List button.

Add a name for the price list and a code. You can choose whether the price list should be treated as a cost; this will cause it to be available on Purchase Orders. Otherwise it will only be available on Sales Orders. Once you're done hit Create.

Your new price list is now saved. You can now assign this to customers, consumers or vendors.

    Is there an example of how it's used when buying in a foreign currency and then having it auto-populate the BUY price? (which I assume is how it works)

    Hey Nick,

    Terribly sorry that I'm not actually sure what you mean.
    It would be awesome if you could drop us a mail to our support address and we'll answer that right away!
