Here we'll cover:
- Creating a new product to represent your Bundle
- Deleting the product's default variant
- Creating a Bundle
- Publishing a Bundle to your sales channel(s)
Creating a New Product to Represent your Bundles
Go to the Inventory section and then go to the Products section. From the "Create New" dropdown menu, select "Create New Purchased Product."
Enter your product details as required.
When it comes time to enter the values for your Initial Cost and Initial Stock, please enter 0 into both fields. You will want to do this because a Bundle is not a true Purchased Product, it's a bundle of multiple product variants.
Additionally, leave the Buy Price, Wholesale Price and Retail Price blank at this point. You'll be creating these values when you create your Bundle shortly.
Click the "Create Product" button.
Deleting the Product's Default Variant
From within the new product, you'll be able to see the default variant that was created when you created this new product. Click the drop-down menu at the far right of the variant and click "Delete".
Creating a Bundle
From within the product, click the "Add A New Bundle" button.
Fill in the variant details as required and click "Save Changes" when complete.
Within the Bundle Composition tab, search for and start to add variants to your Bundle. Adjust the quantity of each variant as required.
Once done, click the "Save Changes" button.
Now, add and update the information for your Bundle within the other tabs, including Images and Stock Locations.
Publishing a Bundle to your sales channel(s)
When all of the information for your Bundles is complete, you can publish or link it to the Sales Channels associated with TradeGecko by clicking on the Sales Channel tab.
Not all sales channel integrations will allow TradeGecko to publish variants to them. Some sales channels will require you create the variant in each channel separately, then link at the SKU level from TradeGecko.
If you are selling the "Ultimate Gym Set" in this example in multiple colors and sizes, we recommend you create these subsequent Bundles under the same product.
You're done!
