To edit a sales order, go to the sales order section and select the order you need to edit. On the right hand side of the page, select Edit Order.

Here you can edit the order details and line items.

You can also edit the sales order number by clicking the green pencil icon next to the sales order number on the right side of the edit page.
You can edit the sales order number for new orders and orders in the draft and active stages. In the finalized and fulfilled stages you will no longer be able to edit the order numbers.
At each stage of the sales order, different parts of the order are editable.
Draft
In the Draft stage, you can edit all parts of your sales order, including customer, ship from location, isue date, shipment date, currency of sales order, price lists, totals, assignee, stock quantity, prices, and add or remove line items.
Active
You can edit all parts of your sales order, including customer, ship from location, issue date, shipment date, currency of sales order, price lists, totals, assignee, stock quantity, prices, and add or remove line items.
In the active stage, your stock is committed but in the Draft state it is not. When you edit the sales order in both Draft and Active states, you will be able edit all fields.
Finalized
In the finalized stage you can only make limited edits to your sales orders. You can:
- Edit the quantity of stock ordered however you can only add to the quantity not subtract from it.
- You can add but not remove line items and landed costs.
- You can change the Issue Date and the Shipment Date.
- You will be able to view the Pick List after you have created a shipment.
- You can edit the Assignee of this sales order.
You will no longer be able to edit the customer, currency, totals on the sales order.
Fulfilled
In Fulfilled stage, you can edit the ship from location, issue date, shipment date, assignee, stock quantity, change prices and add but not remove line items. Only at this stage, you can create a return.
