Once the merchant successfully sets up TradeGecko Payments, all invoices will have a "Pay Invoice" button. Buyers will be able to pay directly from the invoice via TradeGecko Payments.
Only the primary owner of a TradeGecko account can set up TradeGecko Payments account and edit its settings. From Settings, go to ‘Payments’. Check the box to agree to TradeGecko Payment Services Agreement. Click ‘Set up TradeGecko Payments’.
Step 1: Primary Country
Please select the primary country of your business. This is usually where your business is located at. For example, if your company is registered in Singapore and accepts payments to and from a bank account in Singapore, please select Singapore.
Step 2: Business Details
Next, provide your business details - business name, business registration details and address.
Step 3: Business Representative Details
Please provide your business representative details for verification. The registration may differ with different countries, e.g. using the Last 4 Digits of Social Security Number for United States whereas using the Last 4 Digits of NRIC/FIN in Singapore.
Step 4: Connect to Bank Account
Select a bank account. This option differs based on location of businesses due to differences in bank practices of the country.
Step 5: Review Details
Ensure that all your details are correct.
You have set up your TradeGecko Payments account. You can choose to go back to payment or proceed with additional verification.
Step 6: Verification
Additional verification is required when your transaction amount exceeds a certain volume. This will prevent you from transferring money to your account until you are verified. For more details on how to submit additional verification, why it is required and more information, click here.
To submit additional verification for TradeGecko Payments:
Input your personal identification number and upload a scan of your ID Card. Please ensure that you provide a colour copy scan which is clear and does not cover your photo on the ID. Note that verification could take anywhere from a few minutes to a day, depending upon how readable the provided item is.
Once you have submitted your information, you can go back to the payment dashboard and settings where you will see all your payment details.
