To update multiple price lists via CSV, you must have already created the price list in your TradeGecko account. To create a new price list, Settings> Price Lists> New Price List. For more information about creating new Price Lists, click here. Once you have done that, you will be able to update the prices of all your products across multiple price lists using the CSV.
In this example, we will update the prices for Cat Ties. From our inventory section, we can see in the variant details that there are two prices (Sales and Premium) left blank.
Now, let’s update the Sale and Premium prices for Cat Ties (all variants).
1. Go to Inventory> Update existing products. Download Your Products Spreadsheet.
2. You will see the columns for “Sale [AUD]” and “Premium [AUD]”. Add your prices in the respective columns.
3. Once you are done editing, upload the file on TradeGecko.
TradeGecko is updating your products now.
Now refresh your inventory to see the updates.
In Inventory> Variant> Details, you can view your updated price lists.
Can I import new products with new custom price lists using the product template?
No, you cannot create new products with new custom price lists at the same time. You have to first create the price list from your account settings and when you import new products, the custom price lists will appear as additional columns after all the product information. How are the CSV columns for price lists structured?
The currency columns follow the structure "price_list_name (price_break)[currency]" so the Sale price list in AUD is depicted as “Sale [AUD]”.
