Use our QuickBooks Commerce’s Intelligence Reports to get all the information you need easily. For instance, if you need to calculate commissions based on your team members' total sales, you can run a Sales Breakdown report grouping it by the assignee.
Set up your team members in QuickBooks Commerce first. If you’re on the business plan or higher, you can use the advanced permissions to limit your team members to only their assigned orders and companies.
When sales orders are created, ensure that the respective team member is assigned to the order.
Now, you are ready to run a report on your team member's sales. Run a Sales Breakdown Report by Assignee in Intelligence and select the appropriate date range.
Next, select the metrics you want to include in your report by clicking on the Show Me drop-down menu. Click on Run Report.
This will give you a view of the Net Sales and Gross Profit for each team member who made sales on the selected date range. To add more data to the report, select more metrics from the Show Me drop-down menu.
To focus on one team member at a time, all you need to do is click on +Add Filters. Select Assignee and enter/select the team member's name. Click on Apply Filter to filter the report for the selected team member.
Similarly, you can select other filters or add more filters from the list of filters available to narrow the report further.
Now you're all set with everything you need to calculate commissions. You can save this report and rename it by clicking on the 'Save Report' button.
Alternatively, export this and all other intelligence reports as a CSV file if need be by clicking on the 'Manage Report' drop-down button.
