First, log in to your Partner Portal account. In the header, click on ‘Invite a customer’.
Select which method you would like to use.
1. Use your referral URL, which has your customized company handle
Your company handle is set up when you sign up for the QuickBooks Commerce Partner Program. To use your company handle, you can append your handle “?code=your-company-code” to any URL on the QuickBooks Commerce website. This includes all pages on the main QuickBooks Commerce website without a prefix (e.g., pages like support.tradegecko.com will not be registered as a referral).

We have a 7-day cookie tracking, which means that if your client signs up for a trial within 7 days of using your custom link, it will be recognized as your referral.
2. You can send an email to your client through the portal
Enter your client information in the ‘Send an Invitation email’ fields - First Name, Last Name, and Email Address - to send the invitation.
Your client will receive an email invitation immediately like this:
Clicking on the ‘Start your free trial’ button will take your client to create a trial account with QuickBooks Commerce, registering the account as your referral.
