Set up filters on the Inventory> Batches page, by clicking on ‘Add Filter’. Name the filter, select the property to filter by, set specifications and ‘Save filter’.
Properties to filter by:
1. Expiration date: specify a date range that your product will expire in such as past 30 days, 7 days or a custom date range.
2. Product type: select the product type you wish to track batches from.
3. Expiration range: select a time period in the next 7 days, 30 days, 90 days and more options that your products will expire in.
4. Availability: shows whether you have stock available in your inventory
Depending on your business operations, you will find different properties useful for filtering your batches.
Once you have saved the filter, you can access it anytime via Inventory> Batches and clicking on the filter tab you have created.
