Adding a Custom Domain to your B2B eCommerce store

Custom Domains are available to customers subscribed to the Business plan and above (on new pricing plans).

To create a custom domain for your B2B store, go into the B2B eCommerce section of the TradeGecko web app and click on Settings. Click on the button “Add Custom Domain”.

You will be directed to the setup page. Input your custom domain into the text field.

Note
TradeGecko does not support URLs without subdomains, so make sure your custom domain has a subdomain.

Or you will see an error such as this:

Please enter a valid domain, e.g. store.yourbusiness.com or www.yourbusiness.com. Click 'Continue' and wait for it to load. 

Now, you will need to follow a few simple steps to be carried out on your domain provider.

Once you have completed the steps on your domain provider, click "Continue". 

Your domain should now appear in your B2B settings.

If there was an error while implementing the steps on your domain provider, you will see this: 

In this case, go back into your domain provider and update your TXT record.

It may take up to 48 hours to verify your new custom domain. Once we have completed the verification process, you will be notified by email.

In the meantime, you can use your store URL to access your B2B eCommerce store. 

Once your custom domain is verified, you will see this:

You are all set!
